With Honors: The Advent School

Advent is more than a school. It is a community of thoughtful, socially conscious learners, educators, and families. The Advent School is a progressive, co-educational independent school for students in pre-K through sixth grade. With outstanding academics and an emphasis on social justice, Advent empowers kids to become skilled and confident changemakers. In addition to thematic curricula at each grade level, students have classes in art, music, physical education, science, Spanish, and yoga embedded into their weekly routine. Students in pre-K through grade 2 are paired with an upper school “buddy” for the year, fostering a strong sense of community.
